TV adjustment question... ??
My Tranny sticks from 2nd to 3rd and it just pings out the rpms and redlines i have to let off the gas or down shift to get out of 2nd, im thinking if i tighten up mt TV cable it will fix this problem.. right now it seems pretty loose on my TB...
it has alot of slack i want to make it tighter.
if i cant tighten it where can i get a replacment..??

n/m i figured it out but.....
ok well i figured it out and did it... i did notice a big change in shift jerks, but 2nd to 3rd still red lines at 5.5k no matter what direction i moved the Tv cable, on the last run i retured it to the same point we had it, and ran the truck again, this time i let off the gas at 4750 rpms and it shifted perfect anything after 4750 it will red line out and wont ****, i also down shifted to 2nd and took off and shifted to D at 4750rpm and it worked fine i even scrathed 3nd going into it when i down shifted...
do you think the engine was actually ment to do this due to the torque made by the engine going into 3rd? Or prosibly somthing wrong with the tranny linkage itself? Is there anything else i can turn twist or adjust to make it shift at 4750 every time when i have WOT (wide open throttle)
