Default dash warning lights

every now and then, my a.b.s. and brake warning lights stay lit up after my truck is started. they stay on while driving but dont affect my driving. the e-brake is disengaged but the lite is on and my brakes work fine with th light is on. this usually occurs when it is very cold out.is this normal or do i hav a serious issue on my hands?

well if you read in your manual it says that if thoes lights come on it will not affect the overall driveability of the vehicle. it just means that the antilock function of your breaks will not work for instance if you do some hard breaking the tires will lock up solid and slide easier

I'm pretty sure it can also mean that you are low on brake fluid.

ah yes very true.its so easy to overlook the simple things. i would definetlycheck your brake fluid level before you do anything. If not then it could be a fuse or a relay check the box with all the fuses and relays under the hood it should be on the drivers side
