4x4 won't engage

2001 4x4 makes clucking sound and won't go into hi or low 4wheel, haven't use in a year. 4x, lights on switch work. 2x works fine bringing to dealer this week? any ideas?

vacuum pump, be my guess however how cold is it where you live.......could have ice problems...

vacuum pump? Isn't it an electronic solenoid that does the shifting?
