Default motor swapping questions.......i know i know

So I did some light searching and couldn't find the answers I needed. I am about to buy a complete 5.9 motor and am curious to what changes will be needed to go from a 5.2 to a 5.9. I will be getting the ECU, so no worries there, but is there anything else, same mounts right, same radiator, stuff like that.

While I am on the topic, the 44RE is basically the same as the 46RE too right? Same mounts as such. I will be upgrading that as well if all goes to plan.

You should be good to go. I don't think the wiring harness is different. The motor mounts may be different though. Tranny, I couldn't tell you.

I would feel warm in the pants too if I bought a complete 360 for $200

also I think the 318 is internally balanced and the 360 is externally balanced. I know the LA motors are, I'm not sure on the magnums.

thats correct, you'll need the 360 torque converter, but I assumed that went with the motor/tranny as well.

Make sure this isn't a case of "getting what you pay for".

Everything seems to be in decent shape from the outside. He said it was pulled because it started to burn oil. I am planning on rebuilding the thing and maybe stroking it, we'll see.
