my buddy has an 97 or so dakota he wants lambo doors , dont ask y,hes goin to pay me to do ir , he is goin to buy a universal kit for it ,has any one ever done it on a dakota ?idk i have never seen one with it done , is there any problems

Universal kits are terrible. I would bet you're going to have lots of issues, everyone I've helped on or seen done has had tons of fitment issues with fenders, spacing, ect. I've seen one Dakota with Lambos. Not sure who it was though. If Darren is on here he might be able to chime in on that one. It was in a picture along with his truck. So maybe he knows who it was. Personally, I would walk away and hand the work to somone else.

keep a grinder handy
you will probably need to trim the inner fender
taking the fenders off will make it easier, then trim them to fit when you put them back on
it's not too much work in comparison to the finish result.
dakotas are more roomy than compact cars as far as fitment goes. it'll be easier than doing one on a civic.
