Threw a CEL, any ideas?
Another problem with early OBDII systems. Don't run low on gas. if you are low on fuel and say go around a corner, the system reads no fuel and throws a code. a leaky gas cap can do the same thing on a low tank of gas. Replace the cap and keep it above low fuel idiot light.

what was stupid to do? the post, or running it out of gas?
sometimes when your on a highway and theres no gas station around for acouple hundred miles and you check your gas guage and you have 1/4 tank left. and you know you cant make it. but you try to anyways
so I just took some gas outta the 4 wheeler to get me to the gas station.

i was referring to running out of gas, but the post was actually a good idea as some people need to learn from others mistakes bc most of us dont ride around w/ 4 wheelers in the bed of our truck, just my own opinion
back to the question, did you change the Oil pressure sending unit today?
on the whole gas thing, never heard of steering or running out telling you about a EVAP leak, make sure you shut the truck off before fueling this will cause a CEL light...

nice yea walking will prevent running out of gas, or at least make the tank last a little longer and as long as when you dont have ur headlights on its during the day ur fine, if its at night that could be a problem, or at least i would expect it to be
