i just pulled a cel from my truck yesterday, "cylinder 5 misfire detected" i pulled the plug from cylinder 5 and it was slightly carboned up so i cleaned it and realised that the plugs that are in the truck(which the guy who owned it before me put in) were the dreaded Bosch Platinums, any suggestions on what i should replace them with, i was thinking of the stock champions and was wondering if there would be much improvement on my MPG when i did that im already getting 15.5 or so with the platinums in ans wanted suggestions on what seem to run best in these trucks? any input would be great thanksalot in advance.

 

I would either put NGK V-power or champions in it. their the best plugs for the magnums

 

I have always used Champions in my cars and my truck.

 

I use the Champions, never a problem and easy on the wallet.

 

i have been talking to my dad who has been driving dakotas as long as i can remeber and says that he has always used champions for the best results so i think thats what im going to get for it plus as u said they're cheaper
