Hey all, I was thinking lately I wanna do some detail work in the compartment when spring break comes along. I was thinking I wanna paint the valve covers red. I also thought along side that I wanna have it say something on there too. Like maybe ramheads on both sides and in the middle have it say Dodge 4.7L V8 or something around there. I can use some suggestions. thx.

that looks sweet! I painted the old daks valve covers red and painted magnum on it. it didnt turn out too bad. make sure to use high heat paint and get all the oil off of it first

I think I'm gonna buy some mopar performance valve covers for the 99 dak. I've been checking them out for a while now.

 

Yea I'm prepared for the prep work. Still another month til spring break [sm=smiley13.gif]. heh. I have a couple more plans too for the compartment. I think I'm gonna take off the black wire harness covers to blue. It's gonna be a fun spring break. Can't wait to handwash the truck again, and get some wax on that...hehe

 

i'm on spring break now and there's still snow on the ground[:@]
I still grill outside though and it pisses the neighbors off

I would put "Mopar" or "Magnum" personally.

 

i just thought about putting "magnum" under the "4.7L V8"

btw, anyone know where i can buy valve covers that are more...squarish. The ones one the 4.7 are more round.

yea me too!! maybe even with the magnum, dont know would have to play around with photoshop first
