if i ran 2 of the 600W lights in addition to my headlights and 55w Halogen offroad lightshow would the truck hold up as far as alternator and battery?

 

thats nuts! wat are ya needing that much light for? you would have to redo the wiring but thats only a ~14A draw shouldnt hurt ne thing...

 

get another battery and either a super-duty alternator or a second one
even then, don't leave them on, or stand in front of the truck without sunscreen

 

Lol i dont want to hit a deer. but maby thats a little extreme. even for me. ya knowmaby the 250 watt lights will be more reasonable *ponders* nah 600W will do just fine lol

 

thats crazy lol get a roll bar and 4 off road lights 100W a piece ull still blind anythingand see everything

 

I'll keep yall posted on what i decide on. What do you guys think of mounting the lights directly on the cab? My dad has a light bar that you can put on thats held by magnets so you dont have to drill holes in the cab. I dunno i might just see how it looks and if not then i'll get rollbars. OrneitheroneI have no idea all i know is my bed is nakid now that my tonneou cover is destroyed. But insurance is paying up so i'm gonna have a little room to play with

 

must be some massive magnets to hold up aircraft lights...id find somthing that mounts somwhere bull guard roll bar etc..
