Default Lift for my dakota

I've got a 97 3.9L 2wd std cab dakota that I'd like to lift. Just for looks, I won't be doing any off-roading. At most I'll driving on the beach so I don't need a heavy duty suspension. Can I combine this 3" body lift with this 2" front leveling / add-a-leaf kit for a total of 5" lift? Hope so... Also how big would I be able to go with my tires, can I fit 33's? I'll get BFG A/T, my rims are 15x8 and I'm not sure on the exact backspacing, but they stick out from the body a good 2 inches. Thanks

looks to be OK but....
make sure the trip you take to break it in should end at an alignment shop.
you could fit 34-35" with that much lift
my 2x4 dak came stock with 31x10.5s and never rubbed once

Yea, it needs an alignment anyway. What year is yours? There is no way mine could fit 31x10.5 stock, it has 235-75-r15's (about 29x9.25) and they almost rub. Whats up with that?

On that same truck in your sig? Your truck looks level, mine sits about 2 inches lower in the front. They'd fit in the back no problem. Did you install a leveling kit, or is my truck just ghetto?

Yours must just be ghetto
It's not level at all
my rear's about 2 inches higher 'cause I staggered my tires

Just thought of this, would I need a longer driveshaft with a 5" body lift? I hope not

you might need to put shims to straighten it out
but I don't think you'll need to because half of your lift is a body lift
