Im a newbie here and this is my first post. Just have a quicky and I know it has been well covered but I just want a one word answer really that either gives me hope or doesnt? Yes or NO? Do the 3.9l even have the potentional to have a little power and torque.WhatI mean is with all the little bolt on mod like CAI and full cat-backs, jet chip , Headers, Programmer , V8 TB can you still make enough to be satisfied? I tow ALOT (seadoo, 2-place ski-doo trailer, fourwheelers) and I have found that my 3.9 is GUTLESS? I have the jet chip , Gibson CB and CAI but am having the headers and programmer installed next week and am wondering if it is all a waste of money as it will still be lame? I dont need any explinations but just simple input at most? Thanks again !

if you tow alot, you would be better off with a V8

 

You can only get so much out of a 3.9. Probably the only thing you could do is supercharge or turbo it, but then that wouldnt be cost effective at all. There is no replacement for displacement.
