Default v6 to v8 throttle body swap

Ok, I know this is a common performance enhancement for the dakotas. But, I can't find any info on it anywhere. I have a v8 throttle body on the way with the fins removed and the openings contoured. I have manufacured an s-bolt, purchased new gaskets and button head bolts. It appears that the throttle arm(or whatever it is actually called)where the throttle cable is attached is different than my old one. Will the new arm work or do I have to use my old arm on the new v8 throttle body? If so, how do I remove the mechanism? Also, any tips or suggestions on the entire operation would be helpful.
Thank You!
Mark.

Simply do what dodge did ,change the cable. You can get one off a dakota, ram or even some of the DSM cars use the same cable.
