Default Truck died No Bus???

Driveing my dads 2000 dodge dakota with a 4.7 4x4 auto down the highway with the cruise on. With no warning the engine had stalled and hasn't started since. Some things that are wierd. First no fuel pump prime, no spark, and no injector pulse. Also turn the key on and theres no fuel gauge and the abs light comes on. The odo starts to flash and then it says no bus. I search and come up with a couple things to try. First was an ecm. Tried it didn't make a difference. Other thing I read is the crank sensor. Haven't tried it yet.

When it died the gauges frooze where they where and until the key was shut off.

You have had a sensor or a module take the bus down. Unplug the crank sensor 1st and start the engine. if it starts you need a crank sensor, but if it still shows no bus, unplug the cam sensor and try again. until the bus comes back. If you have any question send me a PM and I'll give you my celphone number. Leonard

Crank sensor was the problem. Unplug it and and everything started click and prime. Swap in a new and drove it about 18 miles no problems.
