Default obd port not working

ok so i posted something the other day about possibly having a bad fuse for the obd port, but i didn't find any bad fuses
well this all started by me prolly being an idiot and plugging my laptop into the port now its acting weird:

truck runs fine

the obd port isn't working for my sct or a scanner but if i plug my laptop back in it reads "no bus"

the high-beam indicator light no longer works (might be unrelated)

the trip meter automatically resets itself if the truck has been off for longer than an hour

i tried disconnecting the battery and no luck fixing it
this has really got me confused and i hope its something small that wont be expensive

Plug in a generic scan tool and see if it communicates with PCM. If not, check behind the port and look for frayed, broken, or cut wires. Trace them back as far as you can and look for splits in the insulation. Look for wires contacting any metal parts under the dash.

Try sending scjeep4.7ho an email. He is Richie on Bionic. I know he had a problem with his OBDII port not recognizing his SCT.

so im so happy right now i got it fixed!!!!
last night i noticed that my auto lights that come on when the door opens wouldn't turn on as well as the cargo lamp in the bed wasn't working so today i checked my fuses one more time, and the interior lamp fuse was barely blown, its one of the ones covered by that black plastic pull out thing, and the fuse was barely blown usually they turn nice and black, this one had no black and the very tip of the fuse was popped
im just so glad i got it fixed and it was something very small
