'97 Dodge P/U Won't start

should be able to hear it prime the fuel rail to 45ish PSI then shut off, with the engine off. Should also be fuel behind that schrader test port.

That said, 1.6A sounds on the low side. I'd be expecting 5-8 amps.

Started cutting the hole in the bed. Will get to it when fall baseball or the weather cooperates.

Pulled the pump out. It runs on the bench. If I put my finger over the output port I barely feel any air. Ordered a new one through Amazon.

Default New pump

I've installed the new pump and I get a trickle of gas.

Sorry it's sideways but I've yet to find a way to straighten it out using the recoding software I have.

It's just a trickle. Certainly not enough to get the line pressurized. That line is right on the output of the filter on top of the pump unit.

I'm guessing I've got a bad connection somewhere. I plan to hook up my 12 charger directly to the pump and will see what I get.

Check the fuel pump relay.
