5 speed to 340

hi I got a 1971 340 Duster and was thinking about using a Dakota 5 speed manual trans. will it work?

Depends on what your needs are, but it's very possible. The 3.9/5.2 and 340 are all internal balance, so you may be able to use the clutch assembly from the 3.9/5.2 family and have it all line up properly first try.
