Default Mobil1 5W-20?

My 04 Hemi is nearing its first oil change and I have trying to locate Mobil1 5W-20. Do they produce it or is there an acceptable substitute?

I don't know about 5W-20 but I believe they do have 5W-30 and that Walmart sells it. Good luck and God Bless.

5W-20 is pretty thin for this time of the year unless you're expecting an early winter.....

Here in Wyoming, the mountains are already getting snow! Winter is just around the corner. Isn't 5W-20 suggested for year round by the service manual?

Recommened weight for the HEMI is 5W-20......YEAR ROUND. Engines aren't built like they were 20 years ago, we don't switch oil viscosity during the winter/summer months anymore. The bearing clearences are ssooooo tight now that the thinner oil is better for longevity. Thinner oil also results in lower MPG and lower emissions.

No, the 00 4.7 should be using 10W30. It will state on the oil fill cap or owners manual the recommended viscosity. I always recommend following it, all the time, any condition. Well maybe not in the case of the PT turbo which I think should get synthetic but they don't specify.

actually 4.7 requires 5w-30. as far as the 5w-20 goes you can get it at the dealer if you cant find it elsewhere
