Motortrend must be lying about the 1/4 miles times as well.....
(Quote from the Motortrend article)
During our day of track testing, we expected the Durango to leave the competition in its wake, especially with its 30 extra ponies over the Armada. But the nearly 200-pound-heavier Nissan throttled a 7.1-second pull to 60 mph and took the quarter mile in 15.3 seconds at 88.6 mph, beating the Dodge by nearly a second to 60, and was a half second and 1 mph faster in the quarter mile. In our acceleration trials, the Armada effectively smoked the competition.
Although the Armada may have been captain of the acceleration wars, the Durango is certainly the first mate, and its low-pitched growl lets the world know it means business. With a 0-to-60 time of 8.0 seconds and a quarter-mile run of 15.8 seconds at 87.7 mph, our chief tester noted the Durango sounded faster than it felt through the traps. Like its predecessor, this Hemi has a nice high-performance feel (and sound) at idle. Dodge's Hemi comes at an added cost, especially at the fuel pumps. It posted the worst fuel economy of the test with a 12.0 mpg average on the preferred midgrade fuel.
Come on Hemi5pntsvn don't follow the ways of dodge and lie (Dodge about the HP in the Hemi and you about a fast Durango - thats an oxymoron - fast Durango!!! lol)
And what is this about being negative? Just telling it like it is.....

Hey nitro-
the world doesn't revolve around 0-60 or 1/4 mile. I looked at Armada and just didn't like it as much. Fact is you can pull hwat you want out of context. This is from the same article.
"A perfect storm of generous power, delightful ride quality, and precise handling combined to make the Durango a favorite over-the-road loafer-holder for editorial hot-shoes. A full-throttle matchup of our acceleration champ, the Armada, and Durango at 70 mph was no contest--the Dodge simply engaged warp drive and walked away from the Nissan. "By far, the best dynamically," says one editor. "The steering is agile and the ride quality is delightful--absorbent without any float," says another."
I also want to emphasize that the Durango won the camparison test that this article was about. Also compared was a Toyota Sequoia, Ford Expedition and Chevy Tahoe. Simple fact - Durango won.
You can be proud of what you have but you don't need to be such a tool!
