Name that part?
Ouch! Looks like a part that supports the framework itself. You are outta luck as this I am 100 percent for sure, it's OEM only. You may be luck to find this piece from a junkyard. But as far as the part being bent so back, you may want to take it to a body shop to check for your frame still being straight and squared.
Just what did she ran over?
Just what did she ran over?
Thanks.
I did a little more research and i think it is called a Reinforced Cross Member. My mom says she ran over a engine on the freeway. I dunno though? The handling on the car is horrible at anything over 65mph a ton of swaying. And what makes it worse is she says this happened about 8 months ago!

Definitely you will have to take it to body shop or something to get the part replace and possibly inspect and straighten the frame. Judging the distance travelled on that crossmember bar being bent, I am sure it tugged the frame inward toward each other.
She ran over an engine? On the freeway? Man, I am suprised this D is still drivable let alone she did not get lose control of the D. I would think to see that kind of damage, I can imagine the D be flying in the air!
