'06 Durango 4 WD
what would be a safe speed when 4 WD (wet, snow covered roads) is engaged?
I will be purchasingcamper which weights approx. 4000 lbs, should I keep the vehicle in AWD or 4WD ?
The questions I have about appropriate speeds when 4WD is engaged are not mentioned in the owners manual.

BD:
Remember that 4wd does not help you stop any faster. IIRC, the manual for my 01 states that 4high should not be selected at speeds above 55mph. If you have 4 low like my 01, you won't be able to go more than 25-30 since the gearing is so low you will be red lining the tach.
In this scenario, I would not be going very fast at all on snow covered roads especially ifI was towing any kind of load. Say maybe 20-30 mph max.
