lol, you call that good? As I suspected another Hemi owner impressed with the over rated HP of the Hemi.

Check out the video below if you want to see what would happen if you lined up that Hemi against a Nissan that weighs more and is rated at less HP...

Stock Armada at the track!!

Look nobody cares about your stupid Nissan Armada, which looks like a Xterra mated with a dumpster, reminds me of the Pontiac Aztec. Also I didn't see a Durango on that line, so I'm not impressed, plus I have already had one of those for lunch. Enough said!!
When you read this scroll all the way up to the top and get hooked on phonics.... it reads "DODGE FORUM", NOT NISSAN!!!

So funny seeing how worked up somone gets...

Besides how would you know what a Armada looks like? the only view you would get driven a overrated hemi is the rear of a Armada....

In order for you to so call have one for lunch is because you were racing them and they were just driving normal. Face the facts all publications show a stock Armada is quicker then a stock Durango. Which is the part that is funny because the Durango is rated at more HP and less weight...

I think you should return the Durango for defective HP (of course they all have that problem) The Hemi use to be an awesome engine and is still ok but defenitly in stock form is not delivering all the HP that the factory claims (either that or you have some serious drive line loss of HP)

Back again I see, All I hear is Blah, Blah, Blah,....... Like I said post your ride for all to see, that's if you even own one, myself on the otherhand paid cash for mine which was delivered from the factory to myself so it didn't sit on a lot getting ragged out. As for speed you don't know the first thing about speed, I'm a Navy Jet Engine Mechanic who gets paid to play with F/A-18C and very soon the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. POST IT.... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2079472 this is my ride and the jets I work on.

you both make valid points... in all major tests i can find, the armada is slightly faster than the durango BUT if i may point out, the advantage the armada has is the numerically higher first gear ratio thanks to the FIVE-speed auto as opposed to the antequated four-speed we're working with in the durango(this also most likely accounts for the greater towing capacity too). it's not our fault DCX, GM and Ford couldn't figure out more gears is better until 2006. Now, but the five-speed manu-matic from the 300/charger/magnum in our trucks, and that armada will be slowly disappearing in the rear view mirror. In the end, it's all a matter of personal choice. I/we here at DODGEFORUM(remember where you are when you decide to start trashing people's 35-40k SUV's) chose the durango because we like it better. Now in the most polite manner possible, go rant and rave about your nissan on their forum.

sorry to bring up a slightly old post. I am new to the board. Not new to boards though. Anyway my D has a 5 speed auto and it says it on the sticker. I just checked...Is this a rare thing? And to the Nissan lover my D will smoke you Armada. Ask the 88 V8 fbody guy that i smoked the other day why his girlfriend was laughing at him...Cause he got smoked buy a big a#* SUV. Just wish i had a posi. I would be safe to say my D runs low 15's it will somewhat hang with my imapal which runs high 14's stock. I owned a 05 Mustang V6 for a few months and the D ran neck and neck with it and they run 15.2-15.3 stock.

ummm my 05 durango awd hemi has a 5 speed trans in it.....sorry to tell you that the armada is just ugly as hell in my opinion. we looked at both before we purchase ours. the hemi felt fast looked better and is nicer inside than the nissan, plus it has the german engineering/ designing in its blood.
