I'm vary excited about buying my first Durrango!
I wanted to join this forum before I buy. Hopefully you guys will chime in and give me some advise. After all you guys are the experts.
Here's what I'm goig to look at tonight.

I say, why not, it's a good deal I guess. It's been a while and I have not kept up with prices for the 2nd gen durangos. Have you researched the 08 models yet? They are supposed to come with the new and improved 4.7 v8. HP up from 235 to 310. Runs E85 and I think it may have MDS feature where the engine will shut off 4 cyl to save more gas. Not sure if this new v8 will be available on the early or late 08 models. You may need to speak to the dealer on availability. Also, the 08 will have Hybrids available as well. You may want to see if th 08 model might have the new 4.0L v6. This v6 may be a good option to buy on a 08 that will have comparable performance as the 07 model with the 4.7 and may have better gas mileage.
