Default Need new tires

I have 54,000 miles on my 2004 SLT 4.7 Durango.
New tires will be needed in a few more miles. What do you guys reccomend for a smooth ride. Very little if any off road use.
I have had good luck with the stock Wranglers but would like to try another brand. Looks like BF's are the cheapest way to go. I have always liked Michelins but they are expensive. I guess I would go with the best riding tire.
Any thoughts on this will be appreciated.

Just put Perelli Scorpion ATR's on our 04' Hemi durango. The ride is a little rougher than the Goodyears', but the handling is very much improved. Not as much rollwhen going through a corner as the goodyears had. I am talking about normal driving. Just some thoughts , check out tirerack for customer feedback on the tires you are looking at.

Hi there,

Check also the Cooper Discoverer HT or ATR. The HT is a more economical and "sport look" tire. I have a set of HT's on my Montero Sport and they're a very silent and smooth tire with a 520 treadwear. I paid $95 each. I heard that our Wranglers goes for $140+

The ATR is morelike an All-Terrain tire but this one is around the $110+. Check their site www.coopertires.com for more detailed information.

Good luck!
