Hi all,
We just bought a used 07 Durango and realized after the sale that we don't have the wireless headsets for the DVD system. I know from reading other posts that we can purchase them at radio shack etc... but my question is: is there a way to loop the sound from the DVD to the regular speakers? I'd be satisfied with that fix for the short-term. Our friends bought an 06 the same day from the same dealership and are missing their sets also, but the sound comes through theirs. Any ideas?

push the mode button on the radio and DVD will show up and sound should come through the speakers or at least it dose on my 06

 

Thank you for your response... I tried that but the radio console does not have a MODE button. The remote for the DVD does, but it just switches through AM, FM, CD and DVD... but gives no option for re-routing the sound.

 

I just purchased a 06 Dodge Durango. And of course, no headphones. The sound comes thru the FM station 88.1. Hope this helps.

My 07 Limited has the OEM VES and Navigation. I get it to play through the speakers by pushing the MODE button and selecting VES. I also didn't get headphones when I bought it used, but I believe the ones that came with my 06 Magnum's VES will work. My first kid is in the oven (2 more months) so I don't have a use for the head phones yet.
