i was just curiosul.. can you turn off the alert ( ding sound ) on an 04 durango? sometimes when i want to move my car not too far it goes off.. is there any way to turn that off..

try this get in and buckle the seat belt
turn ignition on but don't start
and unbuckle then buckle unbuckle then buckle unbuckle and buckle think its 3 times you got to do it in something like 10 seconds and it should ding once to tell you it's done
or it might ding when you turn it off cant remember
it also tells you in the drivers manual
