My Durango is the plain jane version and I would love to have an overhead console with temp and direction. I was wondering if anyone knows if all the wiring and the temp sensor is there from the factory. I was thinking that if they wired it but just left off the console then I could get one off a wreck at the junkyard and let my husband install it.

 

As far as I know the wiring and sensors are not there.

I changed the rear view mirror out for a Donnelly auto-dimming with compass and temperature. Installed myself fairly easily. Came with harness to route sensor to the front grill. Cost $100 on ebay and was new.

 

I had the light out of mine and the only wires up there were for the light.
