Default Which really works

Hi all,
I have just bought an Mineral Grey 05 Durango, Limited 4x4 - every option available except for u-connect and satellite radio which is not available in Canada.
I love the Hemi and have been reading the forums but was wondering if the claims of better gas mileage by exhaust system or filter were real.
I am considering getting a k&n filter as well as an exhaust system such as Flowmaster 50 series.
Will this raise the gas mileage? Are we talking one or two mile to the gallon or lots?
Does anyone know if the 50 series is loud in the cabin? I am looking for something that is agressive sounding on the outside but not in the cab.
Appreciate your help on this.

They both work. I got an increase of about 1-2 mpg with my Volant CAI and about 2-3 mpg with my cat back 3" exhaust.
