Default 2005 Durango Drivetrain Vibration Concern

I have a 2005 Durango. When you start driving, at about 1800-2200 rpms, in that range, its like a vibration its sounds like a vmmmmMMMMmmm vmmmMMMmmmmm sound. Sounds drivetrain to me. It is 4WDI have just changed t-case, engine oil, and new filters in tranny, made same noise before and after. Fresh fluisd and filters all from MOPAR.has 39xxx miles on it. TheD was not dogged because the fluids were clean when i just changed them. The previous owners did not tow anything. But at 60 mph as well when you just give it a littleacceleration it makes a smilar noise. Really annoying. At first i thought it may have been bearings in the rear end or something. It sounds like a bearing issue, but when you give it more gas it goes away. I figured its normal. I dont know if the trannys are junk in these. I just cant believe they want you to change the fluids so often in these trucks. 15k for diff fluid. 30 k for tranny(thats not so bad. T-case fluid so soon. Although the guy at the dealer said the t-case fluid needs it, it gets very muddy. Anyway I will take it to the dealer depeninding on what you guys tell me. I know there was a post similar to this, but it was old and i dont know if anyone is still paying attention so i am posting a new one.

Chris:

Being an 05 with 39k, you are still under the 7/70 powertrain warranty. If you really feel there is a bearing or other PT issue, off to the dealer I would go.

On another subject, there is also a known exhaust drone in the factory Hemi system in that rpm range. Could this be what you are hearing??

Hope this helps. Don

Mine has a 2k rpm vibration. It's very very subtle and my wife doens't notice it but I do and it annoys me. It has to be an engine or front end of the tranny balance issue. Just another thing to add to the list of annoying things with the vehicle. I wish she never would have bought it.
