Default 05 Durango Ltd ?'s

Hi All,

I have just bought my first Dodge vehicle (well 2nd if you count the K car I owned when I was 16), it is a 2005 Dodge Durango 4x4 Limited Hemi with NAV etc etc. It has 55K miles on it and I paid 10,900 plus the shipping to Seattle. Did I do ok? The vehicle looks like it is in great shape and it is from a reputable online seller. I will be flying into Seattle and driving it home to Kelowna, BC, Canada which is about a 6 hour drive.

I have no idea what maintenance has been done on the vehicle so I am think I am going to try and do everything once I get it home. Here is my list, please add to it if you can think of something I am missing.

1) Engine Oil
2) Transmission Oil
3) Front Diff
4) Rear Diff
5) Transfer Case
6) Spark Plugs
7) Air Filter
8) Fuel Filter

Can anyone provide a list of what fluid's I am going to need and approx quantities? I'm not sure if it will come with an owner's manual or not, I'm going to try and find a shop manual for it as well.

Being as though it is coming to Canada I am going to have to add Daytime Running Lights in order to get it registered here, does anyone know if Dodge makes a module to add them? or am I going to have to splice in an aftermarket module? I hate splicing factory wiring.

I really want to add the Sirius radio and remote starter as well, so far however the radio looks like it is going to be $600 or so which seems quite high for an add on.

I'm also not sure if it will come with the wireless headphone's for the DVD player, does anyone know the best way to tell whether or not they are the 900 mhz one's or the IR ones?

I really appreciate any help you guys can provide, thank-you in advance!

You can download a manual from 2ndgendurango.com or fluids and stuff from Amsoil's web site.
The 2ndgendurango site is an excellent site for how-to's and general information!

Congrats to your Purchase! EH!
