All Gen 2 Durangos have the 545rfe transmission. Your rear axle should be an 8.25 inch unit as all of the 4x4 Durangos had these from 2004 on. The 4x2 D's had the beefier 9.25 rear as being 2wd the rear axle has to be able to handle 100% of the engine power/torque.
Your T case is a bit more tricky. What does the **** on your dash say?? If it says AWD and 4HI, you have the single speed NV144 case, and if it says AWD, 4HI, and 4LO you have the two speed NV244 case.
