front driveshaft...just wondering
just wondering if any of you guys have thought about or have un-hooked the front drive shaft to turn the rango into a rear drive monster??? with all this talk about saving gas..the only thing i wish my 04 rango had was a 2 wheel drive option...any thoughts???

You can unhook it if you like, You will have to run your t case in 4Hi.
You will see little if any mpg increase. It will allow you to explore the fun factor though by being able to bring the rear end around or hang it out via the thrttle if you wish.
