I'm still young and quite naive(at least i can admit it) and what i wanted to do to my 'rango is lift it to fit 24's or 26's using either a leveling kit or t-bar lift, drop in either a 5.7l or a 6.1l since mine has a 4.7l right now, and possible put a new hood on it; only problem is that the only other hoods out for a 2nd gen durango is one with a scoop, and i don't really like the style..so i was thinking and am now considering using the hood from a srt-10 ram? I know that i will have to modify the hood some what but don't know to what extent? And how hard would it be to make a volant cai that would usually be for the srt-10 hood & 8.3l to fit on a 5.7l or 6.1l?

 

First, sell it and go buy what you want.

Second, have you thought about having a custom hood made?

Next I would make it fully functional.

 

I was thinkin' about selling it or trading it in and getting something else but I wanna have a little bit of fun with this before I sell it.But yeah I talked to some of my friends that do custom fabrications and they said it wouldn't be too hard.
