I recently purchased a used 2006. I'm having some problems with the volume on the stereo. The volume sometimes turns down all by itself. It happens at random times, so there's no pattern to it. I also have the VES system. Any suggestions?

check to see if the speed volume is turned on. this would be in the function mode. if you speed up the volume will raise. if you slow down the volume will decrease. if you cant find it, look in the owners manual for the function.

 

MY rango does the same exact thing. It is 1000 times worse if you try using the steering wheel stereo controls. The dealer is still fighting with the problem
