axle
Spring:
What year is your D???
#1. Look behind the drivers side rear wheel on the axle tube and see if there is a white label there.
#2. If not, look in the glove box, and see if you have a label there.
#3. Look at the front axle assembly, and you should see a white label there also stating axle size in MM, and the ratio.
#4, If all these fail, email your VIN to Chrysler customer assistance, and they will email you a build sheet telling you what your D was built with from A to Z.

jack up one wheel. crawl under car and make a reference mark on the driveshaft. have an assitant turn the wheel exactly 2 turns (yes 2 for open diff). count the number of turns of the driveshaft, either 3.5 or 3.9
