Default 06 4.7 exhaust

has anyone put a flowmaster muffler on there 4.7s and taken the resonator off? does it sound pretty good or is it to loud? i'm lookin for a more aggressive sound but i don't want it blaring while i'm cruisin on the highway. thanks

I have a Magnaflow on my 5.7L Durango that had the resonator taken off and it sounds great. I read that the flowmaster with or without the resonator does not sound right, can not remember. Do a search on this site......not that this helps. I would go with Borla, Magnaflow or JBA.

stay away from junkmaster on the 4.7 it sounds terrible on my 4.7 dakota. i have both resonators removed. the drone is terrible, i had an imco 3 inch system that was perfect but rotted out after 3 years. the flow is rated for 5 yrs. most people in the dak section are switching to cherry bomb, they sound great and some people have sound clips.
