The R/T series is slowly being phased out... the replacement of the R/T models is the SRT models... You may see a Durango SRT-8 out sometime next year as a 2006 model. Don't get R/T confused w/ the new Magnum RT... thats right RT not R/T... besides the current R/T models don't even mean the same thing as they did in the muscle car era. Back then it was for Road & Track as in the maginizine, now it stands for Rapid Transit.

No the 2003 Dodge Durango HEMI RT Concept was just that a concept of what the production model would look like... the concept shared 85% of itself w/ the production model. Now if you want news... I would say if they are going to build one (SRT-8 model), which I am thinking they would... it would be AWD (full-time 4X4 like the current 2004 Dodge Durango 4X4s are), feature a High Output HEMI, bigger wheels, more tuned suspension, and some type of body kit... I can check around if you want to know... Not many details are out about an SRT-8 Durango yet, because the next 36 months will be the biggest in Chrysler history, because so much of the lineup is being changed either w/ new models or refreshenings... but I will try.
