Default Wind Noise on 2005 Durango

The wind noise on the front passenger side of my 05 Durango is unbearable. It seems to be mostly in moderate winds, driving into the wind. It sounds like it is coming from the front pillar area (in front of the front door). Is this a common problem or is something wrong. The weatherstriping looks fine, but normal conversation is next to impossible much of the time.

Many years ago I had the windshield replaced and it would whistle every time I drove above 30 MPH. Maybe it was in an accident and the passenger side door was not correctly fitted and there is a gap....

There are two primary issues with noise on the 2004-2006 Gen2s.

1) Have the front door(s) adjusted. If your noise is there, that gets it. The dealer will be able to pull us a TSA with the how-to specs based on your complaint of excessive wind noise.

2) the top piece of trim along the top edge of the windshield/roof line is suspect to mega-noise. IIRC, the dealers TSA fix is to pull of the trim and leave it off.
