Default blower stays on

Hey all I have an issue maybe one of you have run into or might know something about. I have a 05 Durango with manual climate controls, and when i shut the key off there is still power at the control switch because i have killed my battery twice by forgetting to turn the heater off. Everything on that panel works this way except the rear window wiper. I have changed the relay under the hood, I dont think the resistor would have any control over it getting power, so i am kinda stuck as to where to go next? Anyone have any thougts? I was gonna rip the column apart and check to see if the ignition wire to the blower motor is staying hot after the key is off, but i dont know what wire it is. Its becoming a real pain in the butt and the dealership wanted me to leave it for a few days so they could tell me they dont know whats wrong

Yeah thanks anyways the recall was done a year and a half ago and it relates to the lights inside the gauge cluster and no the truck is 4 years old its not under warranty

05 should still be under warranty

The dash wiring recall probably fixes this issue. See if your D has been recalled for that fix. Always on power to sections of the dash created FIRES that burned up enough Ds to get the recall pushed through.
