Default Fuel relay or shutoff.

Have and 04 Durango with a 5.7 ltr. Hemi that was rear ended when parked. Truck won't start now. Anyone know of an emergency relay or shutoff for the fuel pump similar to what some Ford vehicles have? Any help would be appreciated....

More than likely the airbag sensor is tripped. Tow it to the dealer for resetting.

No codes?

Code P0335 popped up on my diagnostic tester which indicated that something is wrong with the Crankshaft position sensor. Managed to get the truck started. Had to pump the gas a few times and she kicked over. Once started it ran fine. Tried to reset the code but it kept tripping. Going to try to avoid driving it until I can arrange to get it to a body shop. I guess this sensor is causing it not to start properly??

Sensor probably got jostled and turned. If it doesn't think the crank is in the right position, it isn't going to go anywhere... good sensor or not.

Align it based on a manual and see what you get.

Indy, Do you think this sensor could affect the trans.? It definately had a different shift feel then what I'm used too when I was removing it from the accident scene and driving it home or you think its from the hit? Either way its getting flatbedded to the shop. Just trying to see what I might be facing here.

PCM controls the trans shift points.

CPS sends data to the PCM.

Thus, in a round about way... I'd say yes.

With that said, if you were just rear-ended in an accident, have the at fault party pay to get the truck fixed and stop worrying about it.
