Default 05 Durango ?s

Hello all. Just a few quesions. I have a 2005 Durango Sxt awd. It has the stock P245/70r17 Goodyears and at 48k miles they need replaced. A friend has a set of new P265/70r17 tires that I can have for cheap. Will this alter the speedo, and trans. at all? My second question involves the front bumpstops. Are the control arms supposed to "ride" on them? I have looked at 3 or 4 different 04-07s and they all seem to be this way. Thanks

The front end needs to be set higher. They are not suppost to ride on the bump stops.

As for the tire question:
They will alter the speedo by about 3 mph on the low side. Basiclly if the speedo is at 65mph then you will be traveling at about 68 or 69 mph.
