2004 Durango 5.7 - Need to press accelerator to start
I have a problem that nobody can seem to figure out. On certain occasions, I need to tap the gas to start my Durango. It seems to never do it when it's a cold, like after it's been sitting all night, and happens more frequently when it reaches normal operating temperature. However, it is intermittent.
What happens:
I turn the key and it turns over fine but won't start, unless I hold for 5-7 seconds or retry a start with a tap of the accelerator.
What I have tried:
1. Replaced PCV
2. Replaced spark plugs
3. Replaced air filter
4. Cleaned AIT sensor
5. Reflashed the PCM
6. Cleaned the throttle body
7. Oil and filter change
8. Replaced air intake gaskets
9. Checked battery using load test
Thoughts?

some thoughts:
confused- eng cranks for @5sec OR must hold throttle for@5sec?
Is the ck engine light on?
vehicle is STOCK no aftermarket BS?
Remote starter?
If all are NO ..borrow/rent a fuel pressure guage, check pressure and bleed down rate...

To clarify the confusion, I can either hold the key and crank for roughly 3-5 seconds or tap the gas (brief: 1/2 second) and the engine will start.
A few people have mentioned the fuel pump to me but I guess I am confused - if it were a fuel pump issue wouldn't it be me giving signs when the truck is operating?
The truck is stock and no remote starter. There are no check engine lights or codes.

any issues with dash gauges or dash warning lights?
the pressure test are just tests ..
A simple ck would be when vehicle no start- ck for 12v at injectors (3sec when key moved to run) OR spray some carb or brake clean into intake as someone tries to start- if bit hits we suspect fuel,
A SWAG
try swapping the ASD relay...

No lights or engine codes, which makes this harder to trouble shoot - that and it's inconsistent.
I didn't think of the ASD relay, but not sure why tapping the accelerator would affect that - it's electrical. Logic would point to fuel and/or air. I should revisit this as I was starting to think is was sensor related.
