hi, i have a dodge durango 2006 5.7l , i am having my engine light ON , and my fuel gauge and fuel light is on (cannot read fuel quantity), tried to get the obd codes manually by using the ON<OFF<ON<OFF<ON<OFF method but it is not working, am i doing it right or is there another way to do it , and how can i fix my fuel problem?

auto parts stores such as autozone will do a free code check- remember a code does NOT say change a part- post code pxxxx format and someone will advise

anything else not working, any recient work- repairs, modifications, accidents?
