Default VES Screen issue

Hey All,

Wondering if anyone knows what the part number is or where I can get a replacement for the VES Screen.

I'm just out of warranty and realized that the screen is really dim. You can probably see it at night, but really hard to see during the day.

Also, if you have approx cost, would be good too.

Thanks!

Still looking for a replacement part number for the LCD screen on the VES system.

Still having this problem and wanting to take a road trip in my durango in a couple months and it would suck if we couldn't use the VES system to entertain the kids.

I hate to say it, but did you call the dealer? You could also check www.mopar.com or www.dodge.com for replacement parts or information,

Well, to follow up on this post.... This is what I ended up doing....

I bought a VES system from Ebay... as is (The one I bought was not working) however, the auction stated that the screen worked. So I bought it.

When I got the Ebay VES, I took both apart and took the screen out of the new one, and put it in the old one. Plugged everything back in, and replaced all the screws and connected it back to the car, and it all worked again.

However, before I did all that, I tried to find just the LCD screen (SHARP p/n: LQ070T5GG09 LCD screen), but it was not an item available in the United States. I could only get it from China, and I had to buy 30 or more at $154.00 each. So that was not something I wanted to pursue.

Anyway, I hope this helps somebody.
