Ok guyy how difficult is it to do?

Wife decided on letting the 17 year old step son who is learning to drive to drive the Durango. (I think its to much car size and power for him, but she thought it was ok) He did fine on open road but when pulling into car port got to close on the driver side and managed to take the mirror off. It is not the folding type so I need to replace the whole thing.

Luckily I was able to find a used one for $65 but how tough it is to replace and can I do it myself without creating more problems or should I get the part and just take it to the local mechanic?

It's not bad. Pull off the door panel and check it out.
