Hi Everyone,
I wanted to get your opinion on my vehicle. I own a 4.7 ltr 2005 Dodge Durango with 40,000 miles on it. Since about 35,000 miles whenever stuck in traffic for 20 minutes or longer when idling the engine stutters. If I turn the steering wheel or accelerate slightly it goes away. It has never stalled. At the dealer I recently did an oil change, had the spark plugs changed and got a new air filter. The issue still occurs. Any ideas on what this could be?

 

TPS IMHO. It may be a tiny bit off for the idle setting.

i had the same problem with my 05 durango and i had to get a new EGR valve

 

They should have changed the EGR valve along with the wires with the spark plugs. I would question their tune-up proceedure,
