Default lift kit

I'm actually looking into buyina a Durango, Currently i own a 2006 dakota... about to have a 3rd kid. so we need the room. Everything that was posted is 100% correct. I've done alot of reading and searching... This only "lift" i found was a 2.25" leveling kit that will alow you to fit 33's. It will maintain your factory ride "quality"... I havent driven in a 2nd gen durango yet, I dont know the ride quality is. I can tell you that i have a leveling kit on my dakota it actually improved the ride quality. The dakota and durangos have different front ends. Nothing is interchangeable. Yes you can crank up the torsion bars, however I have been told it wears out your front end prematurely. Also it stiffens the ride... If your fine with that do that. I can tell you that the ride quality on the 3rd gen Dakota suck its improved when you put the leveling kit on it and it stiffend it up a little. Hope this helps...

The keys from truxxx claim with a slightly offset rim you can fit 35 with no issues.

Did you paint the top of your headlights? And also the grille? If you bought those then where from?

The rim size will remain basically the same if you go to a 16" wheel.

I thought you were asking about the rim size, not the wheel size. The rim is a part of the wheel on the outside face of it that holds the bead of the tire onto the wheel.
