Default 04 Key Fob Problem

I own a 2004 Durango. The panic button was pushed on the fob, the alarm went off . I could not shut it off, alarm stopped by its self after like ten minutes. Now my fob wont work at all. Called dealer they told me hold down the lock 7 unlock buttons at same time for 20 seconds to reset the fob, it didnt work. Any other suggestions.

Welcome!

Lock the door. Then open the door using your key in the drivers side door. First, turn all the way to the lock position then all the way to the unlock position, then turn just to remove key. Remove the key and open the door. This should reset the alarm. If that don't work try a full PCM reset as well as a alarm reset then use the key fob.

Also see this thead because fascistfaction just posted: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...ired-40-a.html
