Unhappy 2008 Clock Issues

Recently bought a 2008 Durango SXT. The manual did not come with it so I Googled and downloaded it in a .pdf file. However, it did not answer my question.

When pressing "clock" the screen says "Clock Unavailable" [even when holding button down for several seconds]. Also, the "setup" button shows "Clock Unavailable" on the screen as well.

How can I set the clock and get rid of the "Clock Unavailable" message?

Thanks in advance,
Megan

Does yours have a navigation system in it? If it does not, then press and hold 'time' button til the display flashes. Use the tune, rotary dial on right, to correct hours. Press 'tune' to shift display to minutes. Use the 'tune' rotary dial to correct minutes. Hit any other button to set time and exit. I have a 2007 and it does not have a button for 'clock' so this may not help your problem,

Unfortunately, that doesn't work. It acts as if the clock is disconnected. I'm beginning to wonder if the previous owner had a head unit and didn't install the stock back in correctly. Each time I hold down the "clock" button it just says "clock unavailable".
