Default Engine ticking - Do fuel treatments reduce carbon build up?

93K miles on my 04 Durango Hemi 2wd and I'm noticing a faint ticking sound. I think I may have piston carbon build up. What is the best over the counter treatment to reduce carbon build up?

Acceleration seems to be reduced and MPG has dropped from 14-15 to 13.1. Engine seems be running a little hotter than usual - but never above 3/4 temp gauge. No smoke or other issues. Had two O2 sensors replaced recently.

Seafoam seems to be preferred from what I read. I olny put in in with my gas, but it can be used directly into the throttle body,

Clean the throttle body with throttle body spray cleaner. When I did both mine, I held the valve open, sprayed the hell out of it and the back of valve, and used a paper towel to soak up excess. It will be hard start and puff a little smoke. Then I have only been putting tier one gas in and using lucas fuel treatment and both vehicle are running great now.

PS. If you haven't already you might want to do the plugs, wires, and pcv valve.
