my wife's 05 wouldn't come out of park yesterday so I tried rocking it you know all the easy things first. Well when i noticed the brake lights wasn't working it kind of told me something was wrong. Yes it was the brake light switch so fixed that now the shifter is not acting correctly. It wont go pass 2nd and sometimes not into park. The shifter will go the full range but the indicator will stop at 2nd. when it wont go into park you can pull it all the way down and then back up and it will go into park. So can it be adjusted? I think the pulling on it at first might have done something.
